Or maybe that's just me and my children since I have friends who have "taught" their children how to read, and good on them, I say! I'm sorry the testing was so stressful for everyone. My gut tells me that your daughter will be fine, in the end, and that 40 years ago--or less--no one would even have noticed. Information is great, but it also makes us crazy. And you know, once she's fully writing forward, make sure she keeps her backwards writing ability because that? is one cool trick! :)Gwenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12526629366170486737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13083972.post-3975766461226568002006-12-22T19:41:00.000-06:002006-12-22T19:41:00.000-06:00Thanks, everyone.

I suspect it is being raised in a leftie house.

My mother said it is surprising---in a good way---to her how sensitive the world is now to lefties. You mention how bright she is. Her mind might just work in certain way that is going to help her later but for now, for her parents, it is frustrating.

I think it is important to do what you are doing but I do really suspect it is because she is very intelligent and this is just one peculiar thing she's doing with her intelligence.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10270726693980247861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13083972.post-684650647698315692006-12-20T13:17:00.000-06:002006-12-20T13:17:00.000-06:00You know I've been there - weighing up the advanta...You know I've been there - weighing up the advantages of each option: Bad parenting? She draws figures in a way someone told me she's going to grow up to be a criminal. She likes to talk about boobies.

We all have things we need help with. (If you can help me figure out the pants thing, I'd appreciate it. All though, I guess it's not so bad because she's not in public.)

Good luck with all of it.kalirozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10413769558136831135noreply@blogger.com
