When they were getting old and rather sick, they started roaming a little farther from home until one day they just didn't come home.

We have lost two dogs, two rats (very sweet pets. one died in my arms), and several small rodents. I don't count the fish.

I understand the whole complicated thing. Like you, I also understand muttering, "No new pets." I never thought I would hear those words come out of my mouth.

{{{hugs}}}atypicalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09332618564238120593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13083972.post-57297575629270133372007-05-20T20:07:00.000-05:002007-05-20T20:07:00.000-05:00I'm so sorry, Julie. And when they do go, I don't know how I'll ever be able to bring another pet home.Lawyer Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06819273107327846943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13083972.post-72852363143071242382007-05-20T12:09:00.000-05:002007-05-20T12:09:00.000-05:00Oh this was really touching to read. Some day sooner than later, we'll get some more kittens. For me, it was my Bob, a mutt found out on the streets. 13 years and oodles of money later, it was finally time. I was grateful at the time for the sensitivity of friends who understood that I was dealing with a very real grief.

Bless your soul for having to endure it twice already...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10270726693980247861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13083972.post-6934736891381622792007-05-19T20:34:00.000-05:002007-05-19T20:34:00.000-05:00Oh, I'm really sorry.
